NYX & PokerStars Deal

Having just signed a major games platform deal with the third largest gaming group in, Luckia Games S.A., NYX Gaming Group has announced another new deal with their long-time client PokerStars, the flagship brand of Rational Group that’s owned by Amaya Inc.  The operator of the world’s most popular online poker sites has expanded its relationship with the iGaming developer by featuring its content on its regulated Danish site PokerStars.dk. The deal follows the contract that both companies signed in September last year, for the PokerStars.ro website.

Along with the deal with Dansk Underholdning, which the company signed in February 2016, NYX Gaming Group has further strengthened its position in that market and Europe in general. As NYX Commercial Director David Johnson puts it: “We are delighted to expand our partnership with PokerStars as we further drive growth in the European market. We look forward to continuing to support PokerStars in growing its online casino operations and believe that our proven quality NextGen games will be very well-received by PokerStars.DK customers.”.

The fast-growing PokerStars online casino will benefit from the same popular games portfolio as last time, including hit slots like Foxin’ Wins, Merlin’s Millions Superbet and Irish Eyes 2. The games are already available for play for local players exclusively.

Partnership Between Evolution Gaming & Matchbook

In another part of the world, the leader in Live Casino, Evolution Gaming, has secured a deal with a prominent gaming operator, Matchbook Casino. The agreement will complement the operator’s existing RNG and live dealer games from NetEnt and other third-party providers with exclusive titles such as Live Ultimate Texas Hold’em, Live Three Card Poker and Immersive Roulette. This also includes the new Dream Catcher Live Lucky Wheel and unique Progressive Jackpot side bet, which the developer recently added to their Live Caribbean Stud Poker. All that will be available in desktop and mobile formats at the casino sometime in Q2 2017.

According to Matchbook’s representative Cian Nugent: “Having recently completed the switch to our brand new platform, this is just the latest in a series of significant improvements to the Matchbook customer experience and a further signal of our intent in 2017 and beyond. Live casino has been a big area of growth for us in the last 12 months already and with Evolution recognised as a leader in live casino, and with this agreement Matchbook players will have increased opportunities to play different games and different tables, across even more devices.”

NYX – Evoke Gaming News

Having migrated three of their brands – Vinnarum, MammaMia, and Bertil – onto NYX Gaming’s Open Platform System (OPS) in the past, Evoke Gaming has made a strategic decision to move Redbet onto the same online gaming platform, for easier management under a unified platform system. After all, it was also crowned the Best i-Gaming Platform and Game Aggregator at the BEGE Awards 2016 in Bulgaria last November.

Evoke Chief Executive Officer Fredrik Staël von Holstein commented, “The move to NYX OPS will not only enable Evoke to focus on what is important, our customers, but also allow us to grow quickly and safely expand into regulated markets in Europe and elsewhere.”

Having expanded the delivery of their service with one of Bonnier conglomerate’s businesses, NYX Chief Commercial Officer David Flynn commented: “Having been one of our longest-standing customers on the NYX Open Platform System, it’s with great pleasure that we look forward help them grow their business across all the Evoke brands.”

Pariplay Signs Content Deal with Interwetten

In the Isle of Man, on the other hand, Pariplay Ltd. has just signed a content partnership with Interwetten Gaming Ltd., through their existing software partner iSoftBet. The long-established sports-betting and casino brand has opted to complement its core sportsbook product with some more branded and original online video slots developed by the lesser known games developer Pariplay.

This includes Atari Asteroids®, which came out last month, Atari Star Raiders®, Atari Black Widow®, and The Three Stooges®. Together with slots like Las Cucas Locas, Fish & Chips, The Magical Forest, Rio Bingo, and Fur Ball, they are all already available for play through Interwetten’s Malta-licensed casino product, along with titles from studios like Microgaming, NetEnt, Betsoft and Evolution, to name a few. Slots like Bloodshot® and Sharknado® are in the final development stage as well, and will be available at the casino as they launch in Q1 2017.

As Adrian Bailey, General Manager at Pariplay Ltd. commented: “Interwetten.com is one of the iGaming industry’s longest-serving and well-established brands, so our partnership will expand our casino content to new audiences.” He continued: “We hope that our games will continue to support the growth of Interwetten Online Casino and the brand’s broader product diversification, allowing the operator to target new player demographics and retain existing ones.”

Pragmatic Play, one of the fastest growing iGaming developers, has just reached a major milestone by signing content agreements with one of Europe’s biggest casino brands, LeoVegas and Betsson.

Pragmatic Play

Pragmatic Play has been slowly but steadily building their brand since their relationship with Topgame in around 2014. Having built a large community of players in Asia, they’re now looking to establish a strong presence in Europe. To start with, they’ve already translated their games to 16 languages and accept all major currencies.

Pragmatic Play Content Deals

As far as the deal with Europe’s biggest mobile casino, LeoVegas goes, the majority of the games are already available for play, in both mobile and desktop formats. This includes the Game of the Year 2016 shortlisted title Hot Safari, with 10x win multipliers, Super Wilds and a 100,000-coin jackpot.

Yossi Barzely, Head of Business Development at Pragmatic Play, has this to say: “When we created Pragmatic Play, LeoVegas was one of our dream partners. It is an industry leader for all the right reasons, so this is a major milestone. We will be able to offer our games to millions more players based on a shared focus on the player experience and on developing our games for mobile use”.

The deal with Betsson is equally important and helps Pragmatic Play reach out to millions of more players with no less than 120 of their HTML5 casino games. This includes slots, table games and video poker, which will be available at the casino soon. In Yossi Barzely’s own words: “Betsson is a global leader within our industry, so working with it is both an honour and indicative of how far we have come.”

That said, the iGaming studio, wholly owned by IBID Group, has also equipped both developers with their proprietary Client Hub staging environment. This gives clients like LeoVegas and Betsson an easy access to the upcoming releases and a new tool called simulation mode, which can trigger bonus features on request, for more efficient testing.

With the two major agreements, Pragmatic Play continues to expand where it left off last year. This includes a deal signed with NetBet on 1st August, and on 20th July, when they went live with VideoSlots. Other dominant industry leaders like Interwetten, SlotsMillion and Vera&John came on board in 2016 as well. So far, the company holds licenses in Malta, Italy, Curaçao, Belgium and the Philippines, and is certified by private independent gaming testing laboratories BMM Testlabs and QUINEL.
