The natural and understandable desire on the part of Bingo players for faster games and more chances to win has led to the development of 30-ball Bingo. In this version of the immensely popular Bingo family of games, only 30 numbers are used: the numbers 1 through 30. The game is played on a 3x3 grid without a Free Space. As of now, the only style of 30-ball being played is Full House or Coverall. The first player to cover all 9 numbers on their card wins.
As in 80-ball and 90-ball, the numbers are not accompanied by a letter. As time goes on the letters B-I-N-G-O may take on a kind of iconic status reflecting the way things once were. The three new types of Bingo are rapidly gaining in popularity.
Game of Speed
Players who love 30-ball say that they love the speed of the game. In fact, 30-ball Bingo is sometimes called Speed Bingo, but it is not because the caller calls the numbers quickly. The caller doesn't call the number quickly but with a maximum of 30 possible calls, the games are much faster than in 75, 80 and 90-ball Bingo.
Another unforeseen advantage of 30-ball is that players can control many more cards than before. This leads to higher cash prizes for winners. The smaller number of calls per game increases the odds for winning a progressive jackpot than in the other variations.
Fans of 75, 80 or 90-ball Bingo who tried 30-ball and absolutely loved it. We think that you will enjoy it too.
